It is almost Easter and what do we do with Easter ? Besides eating lots of eggs and be with family or friends……knitting some eggs of course ! About 5 years ago i designed some patterns for some Easter eggs with fair isle motifs. The photos i took of them that time are awful and there not that great as it was in my beginning days of knitting and designing so don’t expect masterwork patterns….but hey it’s a freebie !
I’ve designed five motifs in five different sizes and i added a sixth chart in which you can design your own egg motif. You can make them on sock needles, and with any yarn you want. Over the years some more people made them and some examples you can find on Ravelry at the project page.

Remember that the pattern is a little dated and basic because it is a few years old, but basic is good right. Just take a note that knitting on 4 needles like you do with socks is a must. If you make them please feel free to share your results on Ravelry or send me a message ! I would love that !
