Errata list

Bohemian Rhapsody errata:

A little errata was detected in the ENGLISH version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Part 1 – R4 is missing one hdc in the small repeat section at the beginning of the Round. The start of the Round has to be like this:

 R4 (RS): Take Color B and attach it to any st. Ch2 (first hdc), 1hdc in same st, 1hdc in next 2 sts, (2hdc in next st, 1hdc in next 2 sts) 3 times…………

The pattern’s digital version was updated with this little errata on March 15th, 2023. Take note that this has not been edited so far in the magazine’s first print as there was no possibility. Any further prints will have this errata edited.

07-04-24 – A small errata was detected in Part 4—Round 2 of the Bohemian Rhapsody pattern. This is in both languages. The pattern tells you to work in the flo sts of Round 11 of Part 3—this must be Round 10 of Part 3 as there is no Round 11. The digital files were updated after this date; however, the magazines still hold this errata.

Maelstrom errata:

25/10/23 – In de NL versie van het patroon begint Ronde 9,18 en 25 met een ch3. Dit is een foutje en moet 3 lossen zijn. Dit is na 25/10/23 aangepast in de digitale versie.

Flora magazine

15/01/25 – Er zit een klein foutje in het Flora magazine. Bij Ronde 34 stonden helaas de verkeerde foto’s. Bij deze de goede foto’s. Let op! Dit is enkel het geval in het magazine – de digitale versies van het magazine zijn verder in orde.

Diwali errata:

04/09/24 – a little typo was found in the English version of the pattern on this date. In Round 22, a 1sc in next st was missing on the second line between the ch3-sl next st-ch3. After this date, the digital pattern was uploaded – however, printed booklets will still need this correction as they were already in production when this typo was discovered.

06/11/24 – a typo was detected in the Dutch version. R45 had a pc-1l-pc, which had to be pc-2l-pc. The typo in the digital pattern will be fixed after this date.

Secret Garden errata:

Errata – NL versie. In Deel 4 – R1 wordt gesproken over een 3v-gr, dit moet een 2v-gr zijn. Na 19-07-24 is deze errata gewijzigd in de digitale versie en toekomstige drukken van het magazine no.2.

Ultimate guide to crochet basic socks extra addition:

There is no errata to this pattern, I have only added an extra addition for the heel as some people struggle a bit with the heel. This is because some sizes will end up with a odd number of stitches in the decreasing part. Here is a little help:

If you have an odd number of stitches left after the decrease part, you will have an uneven number of stair shapes on both sides of the heel. The number of stair shapes on both sides of the heel should be the same. If you have to have 13 stitches left after the decrease, for example, make 1 decrease less and keep 14 stitches. In the next Row, you only crochet single crochets over the Row without decrease and crochet 2 single crochets together in the middle of the Row to still get the desired number of odd stitches.

Wanneer je na het minderingsgedeelte een oneven aantal steken over zou houden, heb je een ongelijk aantal trapjes aan beide kanten van de hiel. Het aantal trapjes aan beide kanten de hiel moet gelijk zijn. In een geval dat je bijvoorbeeld 13 steken over moet houden na mindering – maak dan 1 mindering minder en behoud 14 steken. In de volgende Toer haak je enkel vasten over de Toer zonder mindering en haak je 2vasten samen in het midden van de Toer om zo toch het gewenste aantal oneven steken te krijgen.

Aztek Artifact errata:

In the Dutch version of the pattern on R63 was a little typo: Na het eerste st van 3l, maak 1st in de vlg 3 stk i.p.v. 4. Daarnaast missen de afkortingen voor een 2- en 3 dubbele stokjes samenhaken een s in de terminologie. Dit is na 15 April 2024 aangepast in de digital versie.

Arabian Nights errata:

27/06/23 – There was a small errata found in the Dutch version of this pattern on.

In R13, there was stated: 1st in vl van vlg 3 stk. This must be: 1st in al van vlg 3 stk.

In the Dutch version, there was also a wrong picture on R17. This is updated in the meantime. If you like to have the photo you can save it here.

After this date, the digital pattern was updated.

Apollo’s Acknowlegdement errata:

04/01/23 – There was a small errata in Round 10. It said to make sts around the fp st of Round 10 – this had to be Round 9. In the meantime, the pattern is updated.

• De NL versie bevatte een fout in Ronde 11. Dit moest een rstv3sam zijn i.pv. een rst3sam. Inmiddels is de versie ge-update.

Be-Leaf errata:

21/05/23 – one small typo was detected in the English version of the pattern. On R15 there was a 2 missing in 2dc-ch2-2dc. On both English and Dutch version there was a typo in R24. After making 5dc/5st in a ch5-sp, the next sc must be made in a ch5-sp instead of a ch3-sp. On both languages in R42 was the number of repeats after the * missing. After this date the file was updated.

12/06/23—On R39, a sc was missing in the ch2-sp. Also, on the Dutch version, there was a typo in R19, where 1dc was missing, and on R40, there was missing a sl st. The pattern was corrected and updated after this date.

01/09/24 – A ch3 missing on R24 in the English version of the pattern. This was updated after this date.

Dia de Los Muertos errata:

On 14 October 2020 there was a error found in Round 14 of the pattern. After this date i revised all pattern 2 parts in all languages. The black and thicker part in Round 14 has been changed :

Round 14 (RS): Take Color B and attach it in any bpsc of last Round between two fans. This is bpsc between the two ch2-sps and not one of the five of a fan. CH3 (first DC), 3DC in next ch2-sp, sk next bpsc (this will be the first of five on a fan), (2DC in next ch1-sp between two bpsc, sk next bpsc) 4 times, 3DC in next ch2-sp. * 1DC in next bpsc between the two ch2-sps, 3DC in next ch2-sp, sk next bpsc (this will be the first of five on a fan), (2DC in next ch1-sp between two bpsc, sk next bpsc) 4 times, 3DC in next ch2-sp. Rep from * 7 more times. SS in top of first st to connect. 135DC

On the Swedish version there was also a small error on Round 16. This is also revised in the pattern part. This is the change :

Varv 16: börja i första fm i en 2fm-ökning på förra varvet. 2LM (första HST), 1HST i nästa 6 maskor, 2HST i nästa maska.* 1HST i nästa 7 maskor, 2HST i nästa maska. Rep från * 16 gånger till. Avsluta med SM i första maskan. Lägg Färg B åt sidan. 162HST

Euphoria errata:

26/6/22 – small errata detected in both language versions on Round 29. Corrected and updated after this date. And one last errata was found in the English version of the pattern on 19/5/24. It told you to work 2dc in one st instead of 1dc in the next 2 sts.

01/07/23 – small errata discovered in both languages on Round 27. There was one dc missing in a small repeat part. Corrected after this date.

Fika errata:

22/01/23 – In de NL versie (zowel geprint als digitaal) is een foutje opgedoken. In Toer 4 van deel 7 mist een 4l aan het einde van de Toer voor de laatste vaste. Gecorrigeerd na deze data.

Ikebana errata:

06/03/2023 – In de NL versie staat bij de stekenterminologie helaas niet dat er steken samen moeten worden gehaakt. Bij iedere afkorting waar SAM in vermeldt staat, worden de steken dus samengehaakt. In de nieuwe digital versie die inmiddels is ge-upload is dit aangepast – echter in de booklet is dit nog niet aangepast gezien de eerste druk.

Messier errata:

16-04-2019 – A small errata was noticed in the NL/Dutch version of the pattern at Round 14. There was an ST/DC missing at the beginning of the Round. After this date, the pattern is updated.

Dutch version – At R47 there was a 2DC which had to be 2ST- after 19-05-19 the pattern was updated

Nirvana errata:

05/05/20 – a small typo is detected in the Swedish version of the pattern. In Round 14 there is written : “..1-lm mellan 2 dst..” – this needs to be : “..1-lm mellan 2 3dst..” Also Round 23 was missing. The pattern is updated after this date.

New Life errata:

11/03/19: a small errata was detected in the pattern as the instruction photo of Round 28 was missing and the photo of Round 25 was placed double. After this date, the patterns are updated for all languages.

25/03/19: In the older version the Round numbers starting at Round 38 are not right as there is a double Round 37. The new versions have a right count of Rounds now.

In the older version, Round 39 said you need to have 26DC at each side of the pattern, this must be 25DC. In the new version of the pattern, this one is now Round 40. There were also some small typos in further rounds. After this date patterns were updated for all languages.

Solstice errata:

31/10/18 errata: Round 21 says to make all FPTR around the FPTR of round 19, this needs to be Round 20. After this date, the pattern is updated.

Soul of the Sea Shawl errata:

6/03/20 – Small errata detected in English version – Row 13. The pattern is saying you might have a total of 102 sts – where it has to be 104 sts. Besides that, a st is missing in the chart for this Row as well.

09/10/20 – Another small errata was detected in all languages on Row 33. The totals tell you to have 46 stitches. This is just one side – the actual amount of scs needs to be 82 for the entire Row. All are corrected after these dates.

May 2021 – Many of you requested a list of totals for the last repeat section of Row 8 – 32. I have put it up in the post about it on my website. You will find it here.

Tibet Tiles errata:

22/05/2019 – In the Dutch version was a typo in Round 14 on the large tile pattern. There was a double 2ST in VL behind each other which had to be just one time a 2ST in VL. Pattern updated after this date.

The Spice Market errata:

Errata Dutch version – Part 3: Round 4 – start in 6th stitch instead of 7th.

Part 8 – Round 10 – instead of RV-V it needs to be RV-A.

Errata on all versions – Part 6 – Round 9 – make 1SC-CH2-SC instead of 2SC-CH2-2SC.

After 4th February 2020 the pattern is updated from above errata’s.

12/02/20 Errata on all versions – Part 7 – Round 12: the fpsc is made around the stitch of Round 11 instead of Round 10. The pattern is updated.

Journey (only first print of Journey and not Crochet Jounrey) errata:

English version of Journey:

Page 70– Row 28 must be Color D instead of B.

Row 30 must be Color B instead of D.

Page 72– In the yarn amounts there is a number missing at the first yarn color. This must be 2 hanks. Also, Scheepjes Skies Heavy is discontinued in the meantime and so the yarn isn’t available any longer. I recommend taking some blue and green shades of Scheepjes Terrazzo as it is pretty similar in look. You only have to take down your crochet hooks by a size.

Also on Page 72 in Row 4, all stitches are made in the flo’s of Row 2 instead of Row 1.

Page 77 – The wrong color is listed for the border – this must be Color H instead of G.

Page 116– R35 is changed to:

ch3 (first dc), 1dc in same st, 1dc in each st of side till next ch3-top, 1dc-ch3-1dc in next ch3-top, 1dc in each st of side till last st on the side, 2dc in last st. Turn. [2 sides of 122dc and a ch3-top]

Page 117– R42 is changed to:

ch4 (first dc + ch1), 1dc in same st, sk next 2 sts, (1dc-ch1-1dc in next st, sk next 2 sts) till last st on side, sk next st, 1dc-ch1-1dc in next ch3-top, ch3, 1dc-ch1-1dc in same ch3-top, sk first st on next side, (sk next 2 sts, 1dc-ch1-1dc in next st) over entire side. Turn work. [2 sides of 59 gr of 1dc-ch1-1dc and and a ch3-top]

Page 126 – At Row 15 and 19 – Put Color A aside instead of B.

Journey all editions errata:

In the Santa Maria Maggiore pattern, some of you seem to have some problems with the amounts given for the motifs. As it will use mini balls, crocheters with a loose tension might not have enough yarn using these.

In the Santa Maria Maggiore pattern on the half motif R7: The yarn is attached in the first hdc and no sc as written down.

On the Nazar Mandala pattern there is only in the Dutch version a typo on R10. The Round must be:

R10: Je start in de al van de eerste stk uit de vorige Ronde, welke een v is na een rddstv. 2l (eerste hst), 1hst in zelfde stk, 1hst in al van vlg 3 stk. (2hst in al van vlg stk, 1hst in al van vlg 3 stk) 17 keer. Hv in eerste steek om te verbinden. Hecht Kleur D af. [90hst in al]

Gallery (all editions) errata:

At the Monet’s Mandala pattern after R11, there is a phrase that tells you to hold the ch7-sps of R10 behind the work, this must be the ch7-sps of R11.

In the Butterfly Sails shawl in R6 – you end with 3sc in last st (3v in laatste st). This have to be 3dc (3st in laatste stk).

Memory (first edition) errata:

NL: In de Aurora Shawl mist de hoeveelheid van kleur A. Dit moet 3 bollen Scheepjes Metropolis zijn.

All versions: R8 is missing in the Sunflowers of Ukraine.

R8: Starting in the first dc of 3dc-gr. Ch3 (first dc), 1dc in same st, 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st, ch5, dc2tog over next 2 sts, sk next ch1-sp, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch5, (2dc in next st, 1dc in next st, 2dc in next st, ch5, dc2tog over next 2 sts, sk next ch1-sp, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch5) 7 times. Nyhavn blanket/ deken:

Errata: A small errata has been detected in the pattern itself for all editions and languages.

The pattern only has two starting and ending stitches for each Row up from R4. This needs to be 4 beginning stitches and 4 ending stitches. Otherwise, you will miss 4 stitches. So, for example, R4 must start with 1sc in the first 4 sts and end with 1sc in the last 4 sts. This will be at each even Row.

NL errata: Helaas is er een fout in dit patroon gedecteerd. In alle even Toeren vanaf Toer 4 missen twee steken aan het begin en het einde van de Toer. Als voorbeeld begin je Toer 4 dus met 1v in de eerste 4 stk, en je eindigt met 1v in de laatste 4 stk. Dit geldt voor alle even Toeren. Door een latere wijziging is deze aanpassing vergeten in het patroon doorgevoerd te worden.
