Besides crocheting, knitting, designing, and dyeing yarns…I do love to write little stories once in a while. I have written many over the years. Some you could find in my books as an introduction to the patterns in them, and many still have never seen the light of day.
Many of you like to listen to something while crocheting or knitting… so I came up with the idea of creating a podcast where I tell you my self-written stories. I am actually really scared to publish this, as it is like putting a part of your soul out in the open, and I really have no idea how you all will respond. So, just do it and see how it will go. If you like it, I will publish more stories…if not…this was once in a lifetime 🙂
The Guy with the Hook storytime is comfortable and easy to listen to. It contains short episodes of a few minutes each that definitely don’t require much attention or concentration. Perfect for a lovely project. The story in general can be listened to in about an hour or so…so you don’t have to spend hours listening to me.
In this first story, I tell you a ghost story of the nightly spinner. A legend told from generation to generation. As in this story and any future stories, each will center on knitting or crocheting. I have a feeling there isn’t much on this theme on the market, so why not make it?
You can find TGWTH Storytime on my YouTube channel. The podcast I have made is available in English and Dutch. Check it out under here and let me know if you loved it or hated it!
