Secret Garden and the second edition of a new magazine is out now…

Yes! The second edition of the Guy with the Hook’s magazine is here! This journey of a new concept started in February 2024 with the magazine’s first edition. I took one of my most beloved themes and the new pattern called Bohemian Rhapsody. An ode to the beautiful rock band Queen and a proper song explanation turned into crochet stitches. You can have an idea for something new, but you never know what the opinion and review of the audience will be. But man, you guys were so positive, and I didn’t expect it would be such a great success! So, time for number two.

Although the idea and newly featured crochet pattern were finished long ago, I still had to design the magazine. And that was a hard one this time, as life sometimes doesn’t cooperate how you like. I had to take care of my loved ones around me with lots of sickness and hospital visits. Luckily, things are a bit more stable now, and so I finally could take on this task. Once I started, I had so much fun bringing the magazine to life once more.

Now, if you are curious about what the magazine might look like, you can watch the overview video on YouTube for a quick and fun look.

So, the second edition of the magazine isn’t any different than the first one. It has the same quality paper, good fonts, and clear instructions – all guided by beautiful photos and designs. If you did miss the first edition of the magazine, it is this one:

But, as I said, there is not only a magazine, but the pattern is also definitely new. And it is a fun one. As we approach summer in Europe, this new pattern called Secret Garden is the perfect one for this season. In Secret Garden, you take a walk through the garden, exploring all the beautiful things nature gives us in our surroundings. Lots of flowers, leaves, and bugs can be found in the pattern—besides an explosion of colors.

And then some general information about the pattern:
